Seventeen models, from a 62 kg hammer for a 0.7 tonne mini digger up to a 7.75 tonne unit for a 110 tonne machine. Whatever you are running there is an NPK that fits it — and we will tell you which one, including when the smaller hammer is the better buy. Weights are for the hammer with the Enviro bracket fitted. Oil flow, working pressure and blow rate vary by model — tell us the carrier and we will send the full sheet for the units that suit it.

GHD series
12 – 38 tonne carriers
Five models covering the bread-and-butter demolition sizes. This is where most of the work in Ireland sits — 13, 20 and 30 tonne machines on muck shifts, foundations and site clearance.
GH series
28 – 110 tonne carriers
The heavy end. Quarry work, hard rock and high-reach demolition, up to a 7.75 tonne hammer on a 110 tonne machine. Automatic lubrication can be fitted from GH-7 upwards.
The engineering
What you are paying the premium for.
NPK is not the cheapest hammer we sell and we would not pretend otherwise. This is what the money buys.
- Sealed nitrogen chamberNo rubber bladder accumulator to fail or be recharged wrongly. One less thing to go wrong, and one less thing to pay for.
- Constant energy per blowImpact force does not drop off as blow rate changes. The hammer hits as hard on its last hour of the week as its first.
- Enviro bracketHeavy-duty rubber mounts enclose the hammer, cutting noise and soaking up recoil before it reaches your boom and arm. Easier on the machine and on the operator.
- Cushion rubbers from GH-7A upVibration absorbed at the hammer rather than transmitted through the dipper — which is what cracks booms over time.
- Replaceable tool bushingsThe bush wears, not the chisel holder body. A cheap part protects an expensive one.
- Fast chisel changesBigger retainer pin, front ring strips easily. Minutes on site rather than a trip back to the yard.
- Underwater capableAdaptable from GH-6 and up for work below the waterline.
- Auto greasing from GH-7Automatic lubrication mounts straight on, so the one job nobody remembers gets done anyway.
Tooling
The chisel matters as much as the hammer.
The wrong point will cost you more in wear than you saved on the breaker. All NPK tools are interchangeable across the PH and GH series, and we hold the common sizes on the shelf in Ballyclare.
Chisel (P)
Moil point
Concrete breaking, highway work and general demolition. The one most machines leave the yard with.
Crosscut (FX)
Flat blade
Trenching, cutting casting gates and breaking oversize. Bites into rock rather than punching through it.
Blunt (E)
Secondary breaking
Breaking oversize and slag removal. Spreads the energy instead of penetrating — the right tool for boulders.
Core chisel (PC)
Steel core
A hardened core where the impact actually lands. Less wear, longer life and fewer replacements on abrasive work.

After the sale
We rebuild them too.
Seals and bushes through to a stripped and rebuilt hammer to manufacturer standard, in our own workshop. If it came from us or from somebody else, it makes no difference — we have been working on NPK for years and the parts, the know-how and the rebuild capability sit in the same building.
You are not waiting on a distributor in England to decide whether your claim is valid.
