Built to work, built to be fixed
GB bodies are manufactured from Hardox 400 — around 40 on the Rockwell C scale according to GB’s own quality control. Hardox work-hardens in service, so the wear rate actually slows as the breaker beds in.
The design is deliberately simple. Fewer parts, easier servicing, and wear components we hold on the shelf in Ballyclare rather than ordering in from the Far East when you are stopped.
