Delivery & returns
Where we deliver, what it costs, how long it takes, and what happens if something isn’t right.
Where we deliver
Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and Great Britain as standard, and further afield by arrangement.
Delivery is quoted with your order rather than charged at a flat rate. Attachments vary enormously in weight, and a breaker going to Ballymena and one going to Cornwall are not the same job. Ring us with the delivery postcode and we will give you a figure before you commit — no surprises when you order.
Attachments are heavy and awkward, so delivery goes on a pallet or a van rather than a parcel courier. Tell us at the point of order if the delivery address has no forklift or hard standing, because that changes how it needs to travel.
Collection from Ballyclare
You are welcome to collect, free of charge, from Unit 5, Dennison Industrial Estate, Ballyclare, BT39 9EB. Ring first so it is ready and someone is there. It is also a good chance to have us walk you through greasing points and chisel wear before you take it away.
Lead times
- Marked “In stock”
- It is on our floor in Ballyclare. We make the hoses up to your carrier before it goes out, so allow a couple of days rather than expecting it the same afternoon.
- Marked “To order”
- Coming in from the manufacturer. We will give you a firm date before you commit, not an optimistic one.
When it arrives
Check it before you sign. If the pallet or the attachment looks damaged, note it on the delivery paperwork and photograph it. Tell us within three working days so we can claim against the carrier — after that, claims become very hard to win.
Returns
If you are a consumer buying for private use
You have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and a further 14 days to return them. You do not need a reason. Ring or email to tell us, return the goods unused and in their original condition, and we will refund the price and the basic outbound delivery cost within 14 days of getting them back. You pay the cost of returning them, which on an attachment of this weight is not trivial — ask us for a figure before you commit.
If you are buying for a business
The 14-day cancellation right does not apply to business purchases. We will still consider taking an unused item back in its original condition by prior agreement, subject to a restocking charge and you covering return carriage. Ring us and we will be straight with you about what that comes to. Get in touch and we will be reasonable about it.
What we cannot take back
- Hydraulic hoses made up to your measurements — they are cut and crimped for your machine.
- Attachments that have been fitted and used, unless they are faulty.
- Chisels and wear parts that have been in the ground.
- Items ordered specially in for you, unless faulty.
If something is faulty
Ring us before you do anything else, and before anyone else touches it. See the warranty section of our terms for what is covered and how a claim works. In short: we would rather come and look at it than exchange letters about it.
