We stock for what we sell and we source what we don’t. If it’s a hydraulic breaker or demolition attachment, we can almost always get the part — even when the brand has walked away from it. Chisels, moil points, pistons, bushes and seal kits for rock breakers and hydraulic hammers of any make, from a mini digger breaker to a ten tonne quarry hammer.

Off the shelf, not off a screen

Front heads, tool bushes, retaining pins, body bolts and seal kits, sorted by the sizes we actually support. If it is a size we carry, it goes in the van the same day rather than on a three-week order from England.

What we do not hold, we source — and we will tell you honestly which of the two it is before you plan your week around it.

Chisels & moil points

The part you get through fastest. Flat chisels, moil points and blunt tools for the sizes we support, with sensible pricing for repeat customers.

Seal & service kits

O-rings, u-rings, wipers, diaphragms — the full kit for a proper reseal rather than the two seals that happened to be in the van.

Pistons & bushes

Front heads, tool bushes, thrust bushes and pistons. The parts that decide whether a breaker is worth rebuilding.

Accumulator components

Diaphragms, charge kits and the parts that get blamed when a breaker loses its punch.

Cushion rubbers & bolts

Body bolts, side plates, cushion rubbers and the consumables that stop a breaker shaking itself apart.

What a proper job looks like.

Two things that decide whether a rebuild lasts: everything goes through the parts washer before it goes back together, and the parts that matter get measured rather than eyeballed.

Stripped, measured and assessed. Sometimes the answer is a piston and bushes; sometimes it is that the body has had its day.

3D scanning & reverse engineering

Obsolete parts, scanned and remade.

Your attachment is sound but the part doesn’t exist any more — the model is discontinued, or the manufacturer is gone altogether. We scan the worn component to an accuracy of 0.015 mm and have a replacement manufactured. Very few people in Ireland offer this.

Scanned, modelled, made

The worn component goes on the bench and gets scanned, which gives us a dimensioned model to work from rather than a guess and a set of calipers. From there it is either matched to a part that still exists under another name, or sent to manufacture.

The scanning is done here on our own kit, not sent away — which is why we can usually tell you inside a day whether your part is worth chasing.

Step one

You send us the part

The worn or broken component, or the one good one you have left. Post it or drop it in to Ballyclare.

Step two

We scan and measure

3D scanned and dimensionally measured to an accuracy of 0.015 mm, then compared against any reference we can find for the original specification.

Step three

We source or manufacture

Sometimes the scan identifies a part that is still available under another name — which is cheaper for you. If not, it goes to manufacture.

Step four

You get a working machine

The replacement is fitted and checked. The attachment goes back to work instead of into the corner of the yard.

Worth knowing: this also builds a parts record. Once a component is scanned and identified, we can supply it again — for you or for anyone else running the same attachment.

Before you spend anything

Is it worth doing?

Sometimes not, and we’ll tell you.

When it does not stack up

If the body is cracked or the machine is past economic repair, scanning one bush will not save it. We would rather say so than take your money.

When it does

If the attachment is fundamentally sound and it is one part standing between you and another ten years of work, it usually stacks up well against buying new.
