Nineteen crushers and nine crunchers, for carriers from 1.3 tonne to 100 tonne. Reduce the concrete where it falls instead of carting it away whole, and take the rebar out of it while you are at it.

The booster

Why an NPK jaw closes harder on less oil.

Every NPK crusher and cruncher carries an integrated hydraulic booster. When the jaws meet resistance it activates on its own — more crushing force from a relatively low oil flow, faster cycle times, and the rest of the machine’s functions unaffected. Because the booster sits inside the attachment, the tool is lighter and simpler to maintain than one with a bolt-on intensifier. NPK have been building it for over thirty-five years. The SV series runs two cylinders and two boosters.

R suffix denotes hydraulic rotation. X-3A, X-4A and X-7A are also available as X-3AR, X-4AR and X-7AR with rotation, adding roughly 5–33 kg.

Secondary reduction and getting the steel out.

The G series works oversize concrete at ground level after it is down, separating rebar from concrete on site — which is where the haulage saving is. The U series adds a single centre tooth that concentrates the force to one point, so it crushes as well as crunches, plus a longer cutter for rebar and light steel, and 360° rotation.

J-type models have a replaceable tooth plate on the arm, X-type on the frame, JX-type on both — so the wear part comes off rather than the tool going in the skip.

Low weight, long reach

Slim-line design

Piston rod and hoses run inside the frame, so there is nothing hanging out to catch. Stable enough for high-lift demolition.

Crusher, cruncher or pulverizer?

They overlap, and the wrong one costs you time. Roughly: a crusher takes the structure down, a cruncher reduces what is on the ground and frees the rebar, a pulverizer works walls and floors and separates steel from concrete for recycling. Plenty of jobs want two of the three.
