BYG grapples and thumbs.
Five rotating demolition grapples from 2 to 35 tonne, and four hydraulic thumbs from 5 to 35 tonne. One is for sorting and loading, the other turns the bucket you already have into a pair of hands.
The BYG grapple and thumb range
Rotating demolition grapple — JGH
NM450 steel, 360° rotation, balance valve on the cylinder so the grip holds when the hoses are under load. 2 to 35 tonne.
Hydraulic thumb — JSPT
Q345 manganese steel. Bolts to the dipper and works against the bucket — the cheapest way to make a digger handle awkward material. 5 to 35 tonne.
Rotating demolition grapple
JGH01 to JGH08 — 2 to 35 tonne.
Loading, unloading and industrial handling, and the tool most yards reach for when the demolition is finished and the sorting starts. Rotation is electric or hydraulic; the two larger models run twin motors and the JGH08 runs twin cylinders.
Five tines, one job
Boxed tines in NM450, a balance valve on the cylinder so the grip does not let go when the pressure moves, and the motors and hoses run inside the frame where the rubble cannot reach them.

All five rotate a full 360° and open or close in 2.5 to 3.5 seconds. Cylinder pressure is 300 bar to the JGH04 and 350 bar on the JGH06 and JGH08.
NM450 steel
High-strength wear plate through the tines, not just at the tips.
Balance valve
Keeps the gripping force consistent and stops the load dropping if pressure moves.
Protected build
Motors and hoses enclosed inside the frame, which is what keeps them synchronised and alive.
Hydraulic thumb
JSPT04 to JSPT10 — 5 to 35 tonne.
The cheapest useful attachment on this site. It works against the bucket you already have, so there is nothing to change over and nothing to store. Q345 manganese steel, which handles the corrosion as well as the load.
Works against the bucket you own
Nothing to change over, nothing to store, and no second attachment to lift on and off. One spare service and a line down the dipper is the whole job.
